Martin Freeman’s rare appearance at the premiere of Seven Dials on Jan 13 just gave fans a rare glimpse into how his girlfriend, Rachel Benaissa (also known as Rachel Mariam), 31, and his son Joe Freeman, 19, feel about one another.

Now, little is known about the Sherlock star and Rachel’s romance, except for the fact that they started dating in 2020 when she was in her late 20s, and have been together ever since. Rachel is a London-based actress who’s acted in films like Irish Wish and September Says; and wrote for multiple shorts and the TV Movie Dare to Say Yes.
And during their time together, she’s truly ensconced herself in the family. Martin welcomed two children with his ex, actress Amanda Abbington, with whom he was together from 2000 to 2016: Joe, 19, and Grace, 17.
Per celebrity.land, they even did fun TikToks together that have since been set to private. However, despite many fans thinking there could be problems that she’s closer in age to Martin’s kids than himself, they’ve shown this blended family is doing just fine!
