The Java House Grand Prix of Arlington is quickly approaching with the first-of-its-kind Indy car race set to take place March 13-15, and fans in attendance will get treated to a special performance by a platinum-selling artist.
T-Pain, the rapper, songwriter and producer who has won two Grammy Awards, will perform in the Good Rancher Concert series following the conclusion of the street circuit race in Arlington’s entertainment district on Sunday, March 15. Fans who have tickets to the race will be admitted to the concert.
The inaugural Grand Prix race will span nearly 3 miles around AT&T Stadium and Globe Life Field with 14 turns and top speeds over 180 mph.
VIP pit tickets are also available, which give access to a reserved viewing area during the concert and other amenities, according to a press statement about the performance.
Bill Miller, president of the Java House Grand Prix of Arlington, talked about his excitement around having T-Pain as a headliner. The rapper will be joined by songwriter, DJ and producer Disco Lines.
“T-Pain is a true industry game-changer whose impact spans music, culture, and entertainment,” said Miller. ”Bringing together an artist of his caliber with the emerging force of Disco Lines, the finale of the Good Ranchers Concert Series is sure to be the exclamation point on an historic inaugural event.”
The Grand Prix is an NTT IndyCar Series, one of the world’s top racing leagues and host of the Indianapolis 500. IndyCar is no stranger to Dallas-Fort Worth with the league holding races at Texas Motor Speedway from 2017-2023.
Tickets for the Grand Prix are on sale on the race’s website starting at $110 for all three days. Tickets for race day, on Sunday, March 15, starting at $80.
