The Kitchener Rangers host two games this weekend. Friday night the Saginaw Spirit come to town and Sunday afternoon, neighbouring rivals the Guelph Storm will be at The Aud.

The K-W Titans basketball team are at home at The Aud Saturday afternoon for a game against the Sudbury Five.

The game is the Team Up For Mental Health game and all proceeds will be donated to the Waterloo Region Suicide Prevention Council.

Kids get a chance to create a decorative pillow using Ramadan-inspired designs at this hands-on workshop. There is a cost to take part and registration is required.

This new downtown Kitchener music series has local DJs spin tunes in local coffee shops and cafes. This Sunday it’s DJ Owen at Balzac’s.
Sunday Grind is a new weekly music event by the Downtown Kitchener BIA that will see local DJs spin tunes each Sunday in coffee shops and cafes from now until mid-March. CBC K-W’s Lauren Kuivenhoven learned more about it.

This event includes indoor games, a bouncy castle, face painting, snow cones, hot dogs and live music.
