Nicolas Cage aims to regain old look after ‘Madden’ body transformation
Nicolas Cage has completely transformed into the late football legend John Madden for his upcoming biopic, and he has been unrecognizable.
Although reports claim that Cage wore a fat suit to play the NFL legend’s character, an insider revealed that the 62-year-old actor also put on some pounds to play the 6’4 NFL coach.
After the transformation, he’s determined to lose some pounds, as per the insider.
“He went outside his comfort zone on this movie, and bouncing back to his ideal size and shape has been hard,” the source revealed.
The insider added that Cage, however, isn’t there yet, but he is committed to being his old self by the time of this year, when he’s meant to be there for the promotions.
As the Prime Original biopic, Madden, is set to come out this November, it can be seen that the actor will be going back to his old body structure till then.
Directed by David O. Russell of Silver Linings Playbook, the film is already sparking Oscar talk for Cage.
The actor previously won an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in Leaving Las Vegas (1995).
