So many artists, so many songs, so little time. Each week we review a handful of new albums (of all genres), round up even more new music that we’d call “indie,” and talk about what metal is coming out. We post music news, track premieres, and more all day. We update a playlist weekly of some of our current favorite tracks. Here’s a daily roundup with a bunch of interesting, newly released songs in one place.

JONNY FRITZ – “TEA MAN”
Jonny Fritz has announced an all-woodwinds version of his 2025 album Debbie Downers. “I love woodwinds and have wanted to make this type of record for as long as I can remember,” says Jonny. “I’ve had this vision of clarinets playing chicken pickin style telecaster solos. Just imagine a Jerry Reed covers album played with clarinets and piccolos. There’s something about the staccato tonguing of a reed instrument that seems to me as enjoyable as playing roadhouse country solos. I’ve never played one so I don’t know but I do think about it all the time. I couldn’t be happier to finally hear it out loud and share it with the world.”

MORE EAZE – “THE PRODUCER”
more eaze’s new album sentence structure in the country arrives in March, and she’s given us another preview with “the producer.” “To me, this is the most vulnerable track on the record and as I thought about how so much of production and session work involves some sort of sublimation of self in a vulnerable way, I decided to highlight elements of this with the fragility of the arrangement and production here,” she says. It’s a rare autotune-free more eaze track which I did deliberately to force myself to think about arranging and playing around my vocals differently. I let my friends and frequent collaborators Alice and Jade have a lot of free reign over what they added to the track. I kept the big arrangement moments I added sparse so that they’d have to play around the gaps in the song.
