Liz Hurley has described how Hugh Grant, her former boyfriend, persuaded her to sue a tabloid newspaper over phone hacking claims by giving her “puppy dog eyes”.
The model and actress, who is giving evidence in her privacy claim against the publisher of the Daily Mail, said Grant encouraged her to take action against the Mirror in a separate case that resulted in her receiving “substantial” damages in 2017.
