“The Testaments” will drop its first three episodes on April 8, with new episodes dropping weekly thereafter. Like “The Handmaid’s Tale,” the new show is based on the Margaret Atwood novel of the same name.
The official synopsis of the series describes it as “a dramatic coming of age story set in Gilead.” It is said to follow “young teens Agnes (Chase Infiniti), dutiful and pious, and Daisy (Lucy Halliday), a new arrival and convert from beyond Gilead’s borders.
