EASTON, Pa. — A famed television food personality will return to Easton’s State Theatre, it was announced Monday.
Alton Brown, who started the Food Network’s “Good Eats” show, will perform An Evening of Alton Brown at 7:30 p.m. April 16, the theater announced.
Tickets, at $69.50 to $210.50 for VIP experiences, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3 at the State Theater website or the box office at 453 Northampton St., Easton.

The theater said in a release that Brown is “keeping the details under wraps,” but has said that withe An Evening of Alton Brown, he’s “stirring up some twists on his greatest hits,” and “spicing things up with new demonstrations, music and slightly scaled-down mayhem.”
“With An Evening of Alton Brown, he strips away the spectacle in favor of connection, spontaneity and storytelling, delivering a show that is equal parts humor, science, food and heart,” it said.
Television, books, live shows
Brown is best known for creating and being host of groundbreaking television food shows such as “Good Eats,” “Iron Chef America,” “Cutthroat Kitchen and “Food Network Star.”
He also has also built one of the most successful culinary touring franchises ever, performing live in more than 300 cities for more than half a million fans.
Brown’s “Good Eats” ran for 16 seasons. He later was host and main commentator on “Iron Chef America” and “Cutthroat Kitchen,” and a sequel series, “Good Eats: The Return,” ran 2019-21 on Food Network.
He is a best-selling author of several books on food and cooking. Brown has more than 8 million social media followers.
Brown last performed at State Theatre in March.
