EXCLUSIVE: Lucy Loveridge, the MD of global entertainment at Ant and Dec’s agency YMU, is exiting after four years.

Loveridge posted on LinkedIn in the past hour saying she is “so proud of what we achieved as a team in such a short time.”

She was brought in by CEO Mary Bekhait in 2022 to run YMU’s creator division and had her role expanded in 2024 to cover global entertainment, overseeing teams who manage the likes of Davina McCall and Fearne Cotton.

“With [Mary’s] support, my role expanded to leading a combined creator and entertainment division – one I genuinely believe sets the standard in the industry,” wrote Loveridge. “I stepped into the entertainment side wanting to learn, and I’m so grateful for how generously the team and our clients brought me in.”

Loveridge, who will leave in April, did not mention next steps. She used to work for rival agency Gleam Futures, where she rose from talent manager to managing partner.

We are told Bekhait emailed staff earlier this morning breaking the news. Bekhait will step into an MD role in an interim capacity to cover for Loveridge and more information on succession plans will be incoming shortly, we understand.

YMU, which also reps the likes of Simon Cowell and Graham Norton, has made a wealth of changes to its business of late. A number of staff have left, including in the U.S., while there have been multiple signings and, most recently, the setting up of a fund to back talent and creator-led ventures. In 2024, YMU was sold to private lending firm Permira Credit in a deal worth just under £60M ($82M).
