Here’s what’s coming to Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, HBO Max, Prime Video, Peacock, Paramount+ and other streaming services in February.

Notable shows

The TV special revival of “The Muppet Show” (Disney+, Feb. 4) features music and comedy with special guest stars Sabrina Carpenter, Seth Rogen and Maya Rudolph.

“The ’Burbs” (Peacock, Feb. 8) brings the 1989 horror comedy into present-day suburbia, where a young couple (Keke Palmer and Jack Whitehall) find the secrets of their cul-de-sac rising to the surface with the arrival of a mysterious new neighbor.

Three longtime friends investigate the death of their childhood friend in “How to Get to Heaven From Belfast” (Netflix, Feb. 12), an Irish comic mystery from the creator of “Derry Girls.”

The limited series thriller “56 Days” (Prime Video, Feb. 18), based on the novel by Catherine Ryan Howard, stars Dove Cameron and Avan Jogia as a couple whose relationship ends in murder, which is the beginning of the mystery: Just who is the killer?

The revival of the hit medical sitcom “Scrubs” (Hulu, Feb. 26) reunites original stars Zach Braff and Donald Faison as best friends now teaching the next generation of interns. Also returning are Sarah Chalke, Judy Reyes and John C. McGinley.

Anticipated movies

A father takes his son on a cross-country trip to teach (and perhaps learn) a few life lessons in Tyler Perry’s “Joe’s College Road Trip” (Netflix, Feb. 13).

A young British woman (Mia Jenkins) in an elite Milan school is torn between two very different boys in the young adult romantic drama “Love Me, Love Me” (Prime Video, Feb. 13).

Three storylines spanning thousands of years intersect in “In the Blink of an Eye” (Hulu, Jan. 27), directed by Andrew Stanton and starring Kate McKinnon, Rashida Jones and Daveed Diggs.

Jeremy Allen White stars in “Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere” (Hulu, now streaming), which explores the creation of Bruce Springsteen’s iconic album “Nebraska.”

Also arriving from theaters are:

  • The acclaimed indie drama “Peter Hujar’s Day” (Criterion Channel, now streaming) with Ben Whishaw.
  • James L. Brooks’ “Ella McCay” with Emma Mackey and Jamie Lee Curtis (Hulu, Feb. 5).
  • Comedy “Splitsville” (Hulu, Feb. 6) with Dakota Johnson and Adria Arjona.
  • Surreal animated coming-of-age drama “Boys Go to Jupiter” (HBO Max, Feb. 6).
  • Crime thriller “Violent Ends” (AMC+, Sundance Now, Feb. 6) with Billy Magnussen.
  • Romantic comedy “Eternity” (Apple TV+, Feb. 13) with Elizabeth Olsen and Miles Teller.
  • Survival thriller “Dead of Winter” (HBO Max, Feb. 20) with Emma Thompson and Judy Greer.
  • Musical “Kiss of the Spider Woman” (Hulu, Feb. 27) with Diego Luna and Jennifer Lopez.

Netflix

An uptight lawyer and a Las Vegas magician team up in the adult animated comedy “Strip Law” (Feb. 20).

True stories: “Queen of Chess” (Feb. 6) follows 12-year-old Hungarian girl Judit Polgár’s yearslong quest to take on the world champion, and “Being Gordon Ramsay” (Feb. 18) follows the celebrity chef as he prepares his next big launch.

There are also new seasons of “The Lincoln Lawyer” (Feb. 5) and “The Night Agent” (Feb. 19).

HBO Max

The second season of “Like Water for Chocolate” (Feb. 15) completes the new adaptation of Laura Esquivel’s beloved novel.

“Portobello” (Feb. 20) from director/co-writer Marco Bellocchio dramatizes the ordeal of Italian TV host Enzo Tortora when he’s accused of being part of the criminal Camorra organization.

Hulu

A woman (Aisha Dee) is blackmailed after a one-night stand in the limited series “Watching You” (Feb. 20).

True crime: “The Scream Murder: A True Teen Horror Story” (Feb. 11) investigates a startling murder in Pocatello, Idaho.

Prime Video

A TV producer (Kelly Rowland) competes with her ex (Clifford “Method Man” Smith) to head up a popular morning show in the romantic comedy “Relationship Goals” (Feb. 4).

True stories: The docuseries “The CEO Club” (Feb. 23) follows women entrepreneurs including Serena Williams, Thalia and Dee Hilfiger, and “Man on the Run” (Feb. 27) profiles the life and career of Paul McCartney after the breakup of The Beatles.

Paramount+

The British comedy “Can You Keep a Secret?” (Feb. 12) star Dawn French as a grandmother who fakes her husband’s death for the insurance money.

Peacock

From NBC comes the comedy “The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins” (Feb. 24) with Tracy Morgan and Daniel Radcliffe.

Other services

The short-form drama “Scenes After a Marriage” (Viaplay, now streaming) plays out in eight 18-minute episodes.

Kaley Cuoco stars in the thriller “Vanished” (MGM+, Feb. 1) as a woman plunged into a web of intrigue when her boyfriend (Sam Claflin) disappears while on vacation in France.

A crime novelist with writer’s block teams up with his crime boss neighbor in the Finnish comedy “Crime on Your Mind” (MHz, Feb. 17).

“Elsa Morante’s La Storia” (MHz, Feb. 24) follows a Jewish mother and her two sons in Rome during and after World War II.
