Ari Emanuel will release his first memoir, “Roll the Calls,” on Sept. 22.
From publishing house Knopf, the book is advertised as “fiery” and “furious,” with the super-agent spilling his insights on the successes and setbacks that have defined his rise to becoming one of the most influential figures in Hollywood.
Emanuel wrote “Roll the Calls” with Pulitzer Prize winner J.R. Moehringer, author of “The Tender Bar.” A first printing of 250,000 copies has been set, and an audio version will be handled by Penguin Random House.
