Longtime public relations expert Nancy Seltzer, who worked with celebrity clients including Garth Brooks, the late Sean Connery and many more, died Wednesday in Los Angeles. She was 79.
“Public relations is the hardest job in show business,” Brooks said in a statement. “She always handled every situation with the utmost class.”
Over the years she represented actors including Richard Burton and Robert Downey Jr. and musicians including Whitney Houston. For many years, she was a constant presence as the head publicist on the Academy Awards red carpet.
