People had a lot to share in response – here are some of the top suggestions…
“‘Reservation Dogs’ on Hulu. It’s so beautiful.”

Hulu
“I’m going to say ‘Somebody Somewhere.’ While lots of people have found it and love it, the love isn’t widespread enough and that show should never have stopped when it did.”

HBO
“Dark.” “I think about this show regularly still. It’s been years.”

Netflix

“‘The Riches.’ I’d never heard of it until an American friend mentioned it and I found the first series on Netflix… Minnie Driver has a comic timing I’d never guessed at, and Eddie Izzard plays the role they were born for (haven’t much liked them in anything else). Great ensemble cast. The drugs episode is a must-watch. Made me a die-hard fan of Minnie. Second series not quite so good.”

FX
“I have always wanted MORE ‘Better Off Ted’… Great show, great cast.”

ABC
“‘Sports Night’ is one of my favorite series. I have the box set of DVDs. Watch them every so often!”

ABC
“Is anyone else watching ‘Foundation’? I haven’t read the books but without any background, it’s one of my favorite sci-fi series of recent years.”

Apple TV+
“Aussie WWII miniseries ‘The Narrow Road To The Deep North’ on Prime, starring a remarkable Jacob Elordi.”

Netflix
“‘Review’ is an underrated masterpiece.”

Comedy Central
“‘Call My Agent’ is genius.”

France 2
“‘The Fall’ with Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan. A serial killer runs amok in Belfast.”

Netflix
“‘Coupling’ on BBC. Really sharp. Idk how popular it was in the UK, but almost no one I ever speak to in the States has seen it.”

BBC
“‘Life’ with Damian Lewis and Sarah Shahi was a great show.”

NBC
“‘The Grinder’ really should have gotten more love, it was so good!”

Fox
“‘Upstart Crow.’ A British ensemble comedy series with David Mitchell as William Shakespeare.”

BBC
“‘Party Down.’ Brilliant and hilarious.”

Starz
“‘The Peripheral’ starring Chloe Grace Moretz. It was a great show but only got one season due to the writers strike.”

Prime Video
“‘Endeavour.’ Every single solitary detail is perfection. Painting on the wall in the background of one scene? If you can figure out what it is, I guarantee it has to do with the plot. It’s that layered.”

ITV
“‘Lupin.’ French series, classy and clever.”

Netflix
“‘We Are Lady Parts.’ It’s about an all-female Muslim punk band in London. Two short seasons, six episodes each. It’s phenomenal!”

Peacock
“‘Pen15’ is the only answer.”

Hulu
“‘Dark Winds’ is incredible.”

AMC
“‘Terriers.’ Scruffy ex-cop teams up with former criminal as private detectives.”

FX
“‘Fisk.’ Such a great show.”

ABC
“‘Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories.’ Excellent quirky show about a midnight diner, the clients and the owner. Great recipes as well.”

Netflix
“Not enough people watched ‘Carnivále’ on HBO.”

HBO
“‘Patriot.’ Peak prestige TV. Quirky, dark, thoughtful – and songs!”

Prime Video
“The costumes in ‘The Law According To Lidia Poët’ are amazing. Loved the series! If you’re into British costume dramas, try this Italian one, which you can watched dubbed.”

Netflix
“‘Please Like Me’ was brilliant!”

Hulu
“‘Ultraviolet’ with Jack Davenport. Kind of X-Files vibe with vampires. I don’t even think there was a full season but I was there for it!”

Channel 4
“‘In the Flesh!’ An amazing TV series set after a zombie apocalypse, won by humans, who then started treated zombies for them to be ‘docile’ and human-like, to be reintegrated in society. The main character is a teen zombie who comes back to his family in a very small village in UK. It’s an amazing allegory view on discrimination, inclusivity and trauma. Extremely dark, extremely sad and one of the best written shows ever, with amazing music and visuals. A must-watch! A shame it was canceled after only two seasons.”

BBC
“‘Continuum.’ Canadian time travel show that deals with terrorism, fascism, and time paradoxes. It’s worth a watch.”

Syfy
“‘The Number 1 Ladies Detective Agency.’ It ran on HBO and is based on a book series. Beautifully shot, wonderful acting, and charming stories. It only had one short season and is definitely worth a watch.”

HBO
“Rewatching ‘The Man In The High Castle,’ I recommend it. Same author as ‘Blade Runner.'”

Prime Video
“‘Scrotal Recall.’ I thought this title was hilarious. It was changed to ‘Lovesick.'”

Netflix
“‘Counterpart.’ It was so good and nobody watched it.”

Starz
“‘Rita’ on Netflix. Danish series about divorced single mom schoolteacher with a lot of mess.”

TV2
“Station Eleven.” “Heart-rending levels of beauty in every aspect. The book it’s adapted from is also amazing.”

SoHo
“‘Letterkenny’ is top-tier comedy.”

Crave
“Mini-series, but ‘A Murder At The End Of The World.'”
