Prince Harry is said to be facing a significant risk as Meghan Markle eyes a career in Hollywood. The 44-year-old, who was formerly known for her role as Rachel Zane on US legal drama Suits before joining the Royal Family, is reportedly ambitiously trying to make a return to the celebrity realm.
Speaking of Harry’s name for his position in the Firm, ‘spare’, royal commentator Kinsey Schofield suggests that the 41-year-old has swapped one hierarchy for another when it comes to his wife. Speaking to Fox News Digital, she argued that Harry once lived in the shadow of his older brother and now risks doing the same alongside Meghan.
She also noted that Meghan’s vision of the Hollywood world is clearer than Harry’s, adding: “Meghan has consistently demonstrated a clearer strategy and stronger command of that ecosystem.
“Harry, by contrast, has struggled to define a role beyond being ‘Prince Harry,’ which leaves him vulnerable to fading into the background.”
Ms Schofield also shared that she believes Harry has stuggling with adapting to life in the US as a former popular member of the Firm.
She said: “California seems to have left Harry unmoored.
“He is far from his family, his military community and the institutional structure that once gave him direction. While he enjoys the privileges of wealth and privacy, there is a visible lack of grounding.
“To the public, he appears less settled than solid.”
Still stepping back from royal duties in 2020, Harry and Meghan now reside in California with their children, six-year-old Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet.
