Tami Roman is adding another acting credit to her résumé — and this one comes with a twist.
According to Blavity, the former NBA spouse-turned-television personality will headline an upcoming thriller for Lifetime, taking on not one but two characters in the network’s latest made-for-TV drama.

The project, titled Double Double Trouble, centers on Roman playing identical twin sisters whose lives collide in increasingly tense fashion.
According to the official synopsis, one sister is trying to recover after a personal loss and the breakdown of her marriage, while the other appears to be stepping into the kind of picture-perfect life she feels was stolen from her. That contrast fuels a rivalry that spirals into a psychological showdown.
Roman portrays both Drea and Ali, siblings whose bond frays as jealousy, grief and unresolved resentment bubble to the surface. The story tracks how their shared history turns volatile when romance, family wounds and questions of identity begin to blur the line between love and competition.
Actor Colin Lawrence co-stars as Ryan, the man whose relationship with one sister becomes a trigger point for the other. As tensions rise, the film leans into suspense, framing the twins’ conflict as a threat to more than just their relationship.
Behind the camera, the movie is directed by Gabriel Correa and written by Sa’Rah L. Jones. Roman is also involved as an executive producer alongside Timothy O. Johnson, Abbey Sibucao and Jill Ramsey, with production handled by PF Cherry Productions Inc. in association with Studio TF1 America.
Lifetime recently rolled out the first look at the film with a trailer highlighting Roman switching between the two roles, often within the same scene — a showcase for both performance range and the movie’s thriller tone.

Double Double Trouble is scheduled to premiere on February 21 on Lifetime.
