MONDAY

Monday Night Blues

7 p.m. Feb. 2. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Seville Quarter and the Blues Society of Northwest Florida are bringing the “blues” back to the Seville Quarter Entertainment District. TUESDAY

Second Line Tuesday

5:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Feb. 10. Downtown Pensacola. Bring the spirit of Mardi Gras to Palafox Street with live brass bands and costumed krewes with pure downtown energy. WEDNESDAY

Gary Clark Jr.

6 p.m., doors; 7 p.m., show; Feb. 4 and 5. Vinyl Music Hall, 2 S. Palafox St. Gary Clark Jr. achieved global impact following his first Grammy Award in 2014, winning Best Traditional R&B Performance for the track “Please Come Home” from his Warner Records debut album Blak And Blu, and seemingly never left the road. The Story Of Sonny Boy Slim (2015) wrought hard-won international acclaim as a critical force to be reckoned with. Throughout 2019, Clark ascended to greater heights with the release of This Land – his third full-length studio album which bowed at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart, marking his third consecutive Top 10 debut. $61.22. Meredith Willson’s The Music Man

7:30 p.m. Feb. 4 and 5. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. There’s trouble in River City when a fast-talking salesman gets his heart stolen by the town librarian. Meredith Willson’s six-time, Tony Award-winning musical comedy The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. THURSDAY

Snowbird Hootenanny: Mardi Gras Mambo

11 a.m. Feb. 5. Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, 17401 Perdido Key Drive. The Perdido Key Area Chamber of Commerce invites all snowbirds to join them at the Flora-Bama Lounge for an afternoon of fun, great music, and fantastic prizes. The event will also feature local businesses offering free goodies, plus a delicious spread prepared by the Flora-Bama chefs. $12. More info: visitperdido.com.

Dinner and an Aria

5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 5. Jackson’s Steakhouse, 400 S. Palafox St. For the 17th consecutive year, Jackson’s is proud to partner once again with the Pensacola Opera to present “Dinner and an Aria.” Pensacola Opera’s Jan Miller Studio Artists program continues to provide training and performance experience for young opera professionals. In residence here in Pensacola January through March, these artists perform roles on the main stage and appear in numerous educational and community outreach programs — as well as perform at Jackson’s. Glenn Miller Orchestra

5:30 p.m., pre-show cocktail hour; 7 p.m., performance; Feb. 5. National Naval Aviation Museum, 1750 Radford Blvd. The legendary Glenn Miller Orchestra returns to Pensacola for an unforgettable evening. Celebrating the golden age of swing, the Glenn Miller Orchestra delivers timeless classics like In the Mood, Chattanooga Choo-Choo, and Rhapsody in Blue, alongside other big band favorites that continue to captivate audiences. ‘Perfect Arrangement’

7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 30 through Feb. 8. Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. Beneath the pristine surface of 1950s suburbia, two U.S. government employees are hiding a secret — and each other. In Perfect Arrangement, Topher Payne blends quick-witted comedy with sharp social commentary as two seemingly traditional couples struggle to keep up appearances while navigating the threat of the Lavender Scare. As the walls close in, farce turns to revelation in this bold, stylish play about identity, conformity, and the high cost of living a lie. Directed by Renee Jordan. General admission: $25. FRIDAY

Perdido Key Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball

5 p.m. Feb. 6. Lillian’s Pizza, 14514 Perdido Key Drive. The spirit of Mardi Gras is coming to Perdido Key in grand style with the Perdido Key Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball. Dress to impress or surprise, because anything goes as long as you wear a mask. Guests who are the best dressed and the best Mardi Gras mask will be recognized during the evening’s costume contest. Enjoy a festive evening filled with a lively Mardi Gras atmosphere, complete with fire dancers, a magician, a stilt walker, and more from Entertainment Ignited to add flair and nonstop fun. Incantation

Krewe of Avant Garde Formal Masquerade Mardi Gras Ball

6 p.m. Feb. 6. Pensacola Yacht Club, 1897 Cypress St. The Krewe of Avant Garde invites the community to their annual Masked Mardi Gras Ball to show support for the military. Participants may enjoy dancing with live music by the Platinum Premier Band, dinner, a mask contest, and court program. A cash bar will be provided. The organization would like to give a special salute to all armed services. $75. Reservations are required for this formal, black-tie optional event. More info: facebook.com/AvantGardeKrewe.

Krewe of Wrecks Grand Costume Ball

6 p.m. Feb. 6. The Wharf Pensacola Beach, 400 Quietwater Beach Road. This is the time for the current court to throw down as one of their last official duties. The 46th annual Krewe of Wrecks Grand Costume Ball features great food, drinks and the costumes are always outrageous and creative. Come in costume or formal. There is a contest for the best costume. SATURDAY

Pensacola Double Bridge Run

7 a.m., 15K; 8:30 a.m., 5K; Feb. 7. The starting line for the 5K race is at 10 Daniel St. in Gulf Breeze, adjacent to the Gulf Breeze High School Football Field. The starting line for the 15K race is at the Maritime Park, 301 W. Main St. Both races will take runners over the Bob Sikes Bridge to the finish line at the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk parking lot. One of the premier 15K races in the country, the course carries runners over two bridges, across Pensacola Bay and Santa Rosa Sound. The 5K invites both runners and walkers to travel from Gulf Breeze to Pensacola Beach on Santa Rosa Island and the Gulf Islands Seashore. More info: pensacolasports.org/double-bridge-run.

Flora-Bama Super Chili Bowl Cook-Off

Noon Feb. 7. Flora-Bama Lounge & Package, 17401 Perdido Key Drive. The 32nd annual Super Chili Bowl Cook-off will raise funds for Relay For Life and the American Cancer Society. Enter your team for a great event or come taste the fantastic recipes. Organizers will have a “Best Decorated Booth Contest” to show off teams. All proceeds go to charity. Navarre Krewe Of Jesters Mardi Gras Parade

1 p.m. Feb. 7. Gulf Boulevard, Navarre Beach. The Navarre Krewe Of Jesters are hosting their 40th annual Mardi Gras Parade as we celebrate 250 years of America’s independence. There will be an after party at Andy D’s and live music will be provided by Sheandtheits Band. More info: nkoj.org.

PSO presents Icon: The Voices That Changed Music

7:30 p.m. Feb. 7. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. Broadway vocalists Capathia Jenkins and Ryan Shaw join the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra for a celebration of the voices that changed music, from Whitney Houston to Prince, Gladys Knight, Elvis Presley, Diana Ross, and Stevie Wonder.  Tickets start at $31.
