The Grammy Awards show, billed as “music’s biggest night,” is taking place in Los Angeles.
Rap superstar Kendrick Lamar has the most nominations this year, with nine. Other major nominees include Bad Bunny, Doechii, Lady Gaga and Sabrina Carpenter. All five are up for record of the year and album of the year.
The show is returning to the practice this year of having all the best new artist nominees perform, meaning Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, sombr, and The Marías will take the stage. This year’s ceremony also features two new categories: best traditional country album and best album cover.
Comedian Trevor Noah is hosting the event for the sixth straight year.
