Sarah Ferguson is facing fresh humiliation after emails released as part of the Epstein files showed her making a crude comment about her daughter Princess Eugenie’s love life to the disgraced financier.
The former Duchess of York has already had to contend with a number of her communications with the convicted paedophile being exposed in recent months, but new releases reveal extraordinary details of exchanges between the pair after Epstein pleaded guilty to soliciting minors for prostitution in 2008.
In one email published by the US Justice Department on Friday, an unnamed person responded to Epstein’s question about a possible trip to New York by writing: “Not sure yet. Just waiting for Eugenie to come back from a sh*****g weekend.”
The message, sent in March 2010, would have been around the time Eugenie was celebrating her 20th birthday, likely with then-boyfriend Jack Brooksbank, who she married in 2018.
Another exchange, dated July 2010, showed Epstein asking Fergie if he could “say h=llo” (sic) to Eugenie and her sister Beatrice while visiting London. The reply stated that Beatrice was in London with Andrew while Eugenie was “away with cool boyfri=d” (sic). There is an indication in the latest batch of Epstein files that a lunch was held between the former Duchess, Epstein and her daughters.
The recent tranche of documents also sheds further light on her ex-husband Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor‘s dealings with Epstein, including a photo of the former prince appearing to kneel on all fours over a female lying on the ground.
