Why Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Missed the 2026 Grammys After-Parties

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce skipped the 2026 Grammys and didn’t attend any after-parties, either.
The pair has kept a low profile for the past few weeks.
Swift didn’t have any nominations last night because her album, The Life of a Showgirl, was released after the eligibility period for this year’s ceremony. However, it is eligible for the 2027 Grammys.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce spent all of Grammys night out of the public eye. The pair did not attend the music awards ceremony, nor were they photographed at any of the after-parties.

The two stars were off social media yesterday and have been flying under the radar for the past few weeks. Their most recent public sighting was in Beverly Hills on January 12.

On January 22, a source gave Entertainment Tonight an update on Swift, saying, “Taylor’s happy, grounded, and fully focused on her life with Travis. Right now, she’s prioritizing everything positive and exciting happening in her life.”

Swift did not have any nominations at this year’s Grammys and wasn’t presenting or performing, either. Next year, however, Swift could be back in the running, since her album The Life of a Showgirl will be eligible for awards. While it was released in 2025, it came out on Oct. 3, 2025, after the 2026 ceremony’s Aug. 31, 2024 to Aug. 30, 2025 eligibility period.

The singer has kept her next career moves private, but in an October interview, she shut down the possibility of her touring for The Life of a Showgirl. She said she doesn’t currently have the itch to hit the road again after completing her massive Eras Tour: “I am going to be really honest with you,” she told BBC Radio 1’s Greg James. “I am so tired when I think about doing it [touring] again because I’d want to do it really well again.”

In December, a source told Us Weekly that Swift “always has ideas percolating” for her music career but confirmed she hasn’t committed to doing another tour imminently. Generally, the source said, “there have been ideas floated, but right now she is enjoying her break.”
