As Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor starts to move into Marsh Farm on King Charles III‘s Sandringham estate, an insider told The Mirror that the former Duke of York is “appalled” that the “poky” house only has five bedrooms.

According to a second source, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s new residence will take time to adjust to. “He really didn’t want Marsh Farm,” the insider told Daily Mail. “Andrew won’t have lived anywhere that small since he left his apartment at Buckingham Palace — and then he had free roam of the building and grounds when he needed space.”

King Charles III evicted Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor from Royal Lodge and stripped him of his titles over his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein. However, he’s reportedly taking ample time to relocate to Marsh Farm. “Andrew seems to be kicking his heels. The disgraced royal has made it clear to the King and courtiers who sent him packing, that he is going nowhere fast,” author Robert Jobson told HELLO!.

In response to being banished from royal life, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor won’t make the move easy for anyone. “Andrew has absolutely no intention of settling quietly into Sandringham,” a source told Closer. “He sees it as humiliating and beneath him. He says if [King] Charles III and [Prince] William think they can park him in some falling-down dump and pretend he no longer exists, they have another thing coming.”
