The date night to end all date nights is upon us once again — any ideas?

If you’re looking to make this Valentine’s Day one to remember but you’re not sure where to start, Indianapolis has you covered with a selection of shows, movies and other events to ring in the most romantic day of the year. And the love stays alive with performances and entertainment that run through the month and beyond.

Once you’ve gotten dinner out of the way with the help of IndyStar’s Valentine’s Day restaurant recommendations, stick the landing with one of these Indy-area events curated by IndyStar’s entertainment staff:

‘Ado’

Feb. 12-March 1. Phoenix Theatre, 705 N. Illinois St. $19 and up. phoenixtheatre.org/buy-tickets

Indianapolis Shakespeare Co. will perform the comedy by Lavina Jadhwani. The play follows Hero, who’s endured an accusation of infidelity and public shaming in this feminist response to Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing.”
