Two major powerhouses with K-pop roots are making waves with new releases.  Grammy-winning singer-songwriter EJAE released a new solo single while BLACKPINK’s Jennie lends her star power to a high-profile remix with Tame Impala.

EJAE has returned with “Time After Time,” her latest standalone release and the follow-up to last year’s solo ballad, “In Another World.” The new single is a catchy pop breakup banger that would fit right alongside EJAE’s infectious “Golden” from Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters (KPDH) soundtrack. In a statement, the singer said, “The melody of ‘Time After Time’ was stuck in my head for years, just like the person I wrote it about.”

This latest single continues her momentum following a Golden Globes and a Critics Choice win. It also arrives on the heels of new KPDH brand collaboration announcements with LEGO and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.

EJAE and her fellow Huntr/x members Rei Ami and Audrey Nuna will perform “Golden” at the BAFTA Film Awards ceremony in London on Feb. 22. While the film isn’t eligible for BAFTA awards consideration, it will mark the first international live performance by the trio.

Meanwhile, Jennie has added another global collaboration to her growing solo catalogue with the release of “Dracula – JENNIE Remix,” an updated version of Tame Impala’s disco-leaning electropop hit. After days of fan speculation fueled by cryptic social media hints and subtle Easter eggs, Tame Impala member Kevin Parker officially confirmed Jennie’s involvement earlier this week. The remix features newly written verses and chorus vocals from the BLACKPINK star like, “My friends are saying, ‘Shut up, Jennie, just get in the car.’”

Originally released in 2025 as part of Tame Impala’s fifth studio album Deadbeat, “Dracula” marked a career milestone for Parker, becoming the project’s standout track and his first Billboard Hot 100 hit.

For Jennie, the remix follows the release of her debut solo album Ruby, which debuted at number two on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart. It also arrives on the heels of BLACKPINK’s recent announcement of their upcoming mini album Deadline, named after the group’s recently concluded world tour. The project will include the pre-release single “Jump,” alongside four additional tracks.
