Pioneers of their virtuosic ear-pummelling form, Origin’s roots can be traced back to 1990, but they didn’t start officially releasing full length records until their 2000 self-titled debut, notably “the first death metal album released on a label to incorporate the use of gravity blasts” (once known as the Origin blast).
