“Salman Khan attending the RSS event or not attending it—what kind of question is this, and isn’t Salman Khan an Indian citizen? Salman Khan is an Indian citizen; he has Lord Ganesha at his home, does everything, respects our culture, and his family does too,” Shinde said to the news agency ANI.
The event brought together several high-profile personalities from the film industry, including Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, alongside RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. The focus was on the evolution of the organisation and its impact on Indian society.
Bhagwat highlighted Khan’s influence among young people. “College students copy Salman Khan’s fashion. When asked why, they say they don’t know. Salman is doing it. The context of good values in society should become a fashion,” he remarked, suggesting that celebrity culture could promote positive societal change.
While discussion over Khan’s appearance continues, the actor is also in the spotlight for his upcoming film, Battle of Galwan. The film, initially set for release in April, may be delayed until August, potentially resulting in a box office competition with Sunny Deol’s Lahore 1947.
