Skip the prix fixe menus and heart-shaped balloons—Love Is Blind is back just in time for Valentine’s Day, and the pod drama is sweeter (and messier) than chocolate-covered strawberries.
Netflix’s social experiment returns for its milestone 10th season, this time with a new cast of singles and a new setting. Season 10 was filmed entirely in Ohio, marking the show’s first official foray into the Midwest. The pod squad hails from Columbus, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and surrounding cities. According to casting director Donna Driscoll, the location wasn’t just a coincidence: “We haven’t really done this in the Midwest,” she told The Columbus Dispatch, “but more important, the host of our show, Nick Lachey, was raised in Cincinnati.”
This season, the cast is made up of 16 men and 16 women, all between the ages of 28 and 39. The group includes an ER doctor, a marketing director, a registered nurse, a software engineer, and a retired Cleveland Cavaliers dancer. In other words, they’re medically cleared, business-savvy, and can probably perform a split on demand.
