Shia LaBeouf appears to be weathering his recent arrest scandal alone after he and wife Mia Goth reportedly split nearly one year ago.
According to multiple reports, LaBeouf, 39, and Goth, 32, called it quits last year but it’s unclear whether they’ve filed for divorce.
The Transformers actor moved to New Orleans in the wake of their breakup to be closer to family, Page Six reported on Tuesday, February 17.
Us Weekly has reached out to LaBeouf and Goth’s reps for comment.
News of the couple’s split broke hours after LaBeouf made headlines on Tuesday morning following his arrest in New Orleans. The actor was allegedly involved in a physical altercation in the Louisiana city just after midnight, resulting in paramedics being called to the scene.
LaBeouf is facing two counts of simple battery following the Mardi Gras brawl, Us can confirm. He has a pre-trial hearing scheduled for March 19. (TMZ was first to report the news of his arrest.)
According to a video released by the publication, which appeared to be taken at the scene, a shirtless LaBeouf looked to be speaking with someone in the French Quarter. The video then cuts to the Even Stevens alum still shirtless in the open trunk of a police car.
As LaBeouf spoke with EMS paramedics on scene, he placed a white shirt on his head. He was later seen in photos published by TMZ in the back of an ambulance.

Goth, meanwhile, stood by LaBeouf during the drama, sparking engagement speculation in March 2015 when she was seen wearing a ring on her left hand at a fashion show.
Us confirmed in March 2016 that the pair were engaged and they tied the knot seven months later in Las Vegas. While the couple planned to keep their nuptials private, LaBeouf revealed in October 2016 that the footage was somehow livestreamed on TMZ.
“The plan was for it to be a private deal,” LaBeouf said during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “Part of the package, the King Tut package, you get a livestream for free — [it’s] part of the deal. And I said, ‘Ya know, we don’t really need that as a matter of fact. We’ll just take our private tape. We got our moms there,’ and they said, ‘No problem.’”

Despite being surprised by the incident, LaBeouf recalled being “proud” of his and Goth’s special day, noting their fathers “couldn’t be there so it was kind of nice to have them there watching in a way.”

A few months later, LaBeouf shared a rare comment about his partner, revealing on a September 2022 episode of the “Real Ones With Jon Bernthal” podcast that Goth “saved my f***ing life.”
