It’s almost time to dust off your picnic baskets, blankets, lawn chairs and dancing shoes as organizers of the annual ZooTunes summer concert series at Woodland Park Zoo have just announced their lineup.

This year’s edition kicks off June 4 with the cover band Yacht Rock Revue and includes plenty more highlights, such as the American indie rock band for both Gen X parents as well as their Gen Z kids, Pavement (July 19), actress and swooning indie-pop singer Suki Waterhouse (Aug. 6), and the combination of indie folk band The Mountain Goats and rock band The Hold Steady, who will be performing the 2006 album “Boys and Girls in America” (Aug. 9).

Tickets for the series go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 27 and are only available to be purchased online at zoo.org/zootunes. Proceeds from the event will go toward the zoo’s ongoing animal care as well as their global wildlife conservation and environmental education programs. Check out the full lineup below.

Now entering its 42nd season, the beloved ZooTunes series has been through many evolutions over the decades, recently making a pivot toward bands that are more appealing to younger concertgoers. Still, the series has had a wide array of musical offerings for all generations looking to take in some good tunes and vibes while lounging out on the grass, from alt-country artist Jason Isbell in 2023 to indie rocker Japanese Breakfast last year.
