Shamed Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is no longer allowed to go horse riding after being slapped with a ban on his favourite pastime.
A source told The Sun: “Since his arrest last week he has been ordered not to go horse riding. It’s considered a bad look. They don’t think he should be seen grinning and smiling on his horse like he was in Windsor.
“But it was one of the few things he actually enjoyed doing so what on earth is he going to do with his time?”
This means the former prince, 66, is now effectively housebound with just his dogs for company at Wood Farm, including two of his late mother’s corgis.
The riding ban follows the voluntary surrender of his gun licence to the police last year, ending another of his hobbies.
The Sun also reports that in a rare bit of good news for the former Duke, engineers were yesterday fitting high-speed internet in the nearby road.
Wolferton on the Sandringham estate lost connection for a month last autumn, and the parish council has pushed for a full-fibre service.

On Andrew’s 66th birthday, the former prince was arrested by Thames Valley Police, on suspicion of misconduct in public office, and released under investigation 11 hours later. Andrew held the role of the UK’s trade envoy from 2001 to 2011, giving him privileged access to senior Government and business contacts around the world.
Andrew has strongly denied all accusations made against him in relation to the late financier.
