Lisa Rinna is speaking out after an alleged drugging incident at the premiere of her new show.
During an appearance on “Good Day New York” Thursday, Feb. 26, the soap opera veteran and reality-TV personality, who stars in the latest season of “The Traitors,” said she was drugged during the reality competition’s Season 4 premiere in West Hollywood on Jan. 8.
TMZ first reported on the alleged incident Monday, which prompted the “Good Day New York” hosts to ask Rinna about the event, held at The Abbey in West Hollywood.
“Yes, I was [drugged]. I had fentanyl in my system,” Rinna, 62, said, adding that she took a drug test afterward to confirm the substances in her system.
“I’m not kidding. I had fentanyl, high levels of amphetamines and other things,” she continued. “But I can’t talk a lot about it because we’re still dealing with it. It was leaked, and my team is dealing with it now.”

The “Real Housewives” alum was photographed at “The Traitors” premiere, with one photo showing Rinna posing in an all-black outfit and matching hat. Another picture showed Rinna and her “Traitors” castmates, among them Alan Cumming and Colton Underwood, huddled together for a group shot.
In a statement to USA TODAY Thursday, The Abbey said it “immediately conducted a thorough internal review” following Rinna’s report of an alleged drugging, including interviews with staff and a review of “all available surveillance footage.”
“When she became unwell, our security team assisted her and escorted her safely out of the venue,” the statement read. “We found no evidence of drink tampering or suspicious behavior toward her.”
Rinna, who said her husband Harry Hamlin helped her exit the premiere quickly after the alleged incident, shared that many of her friends have had a similar experience at the West Hollywood venue.
“This is not a first-time thing. This is something that’s gone on for years,” Rinna said on “Good Day New York.” “And I do think it needs to be a conversation. And I’m glad now that it’s out, and we will deal with it. I just haven’t had my own time to do that yet.”
While The Abbey did not dispute the results of Rinna’s purported drug test, the venue said it has “extensive surveillance coverage, trained security personnel and ongoing drink-safety measures in place.”
“We cannot speak to medical findings and do not want to speculate about toxicology results,” the venue said. “We take any report of a guest feeling unwell or unsafe extremely seriously and follow established investigative protocols.”
