Morgan Freeman has openly criticized President Donald Trump during a live TV interview, calling him a “convicted felon” and saying he is “leading us down a s*****.” The 88-year-old actor made the remarks while promoting Prime Video’s new historical drama, The Gray House, which he executive produced, according to Ms Now.
During his appearance on The Last Word With Lawrence O’Donnell, Freeman was asked about his view of the world today. He responded with blunt honesty, saying, “Well, we have somebody sitting in the White House who is leading us down a s**hole.” He continued, “I can’t personally understand how a convicted felon… convicted! [Someone with] 34 felonious counts of wrongdoing gets to be president.
