- Meghan Markle shared photos from her European vacation with Prince Harry, Lilibet, and Archie.
- The family visited Princess Diana’s childhood home, Althorp.
- Other photos showed them at the beach, enjoying Portugal, and more.
In late June, People reported that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were vacationing in Europe with their children, Archie and Lilibet. The trip lasted over a week, and now, Meghan is giving fans an exclusive look at what they did on Instagram.
While the Duchess of Sussex did not include photos from Archie and Lili’s visit with their grandfather, King Charles, she included a shot of them visiting Althorp, their late grandmother Princess Diana’s childhood home in the U.K. (People reported they stayed at the Northamptonshire estate as guests of Harry’s uncle, Charles Spencer.)
She also included snaps of them on the beach, meeting pilots, and diving in pools. Meghan didn’t tag or specify locations, but they did travel to multiple countries. Town & Country even identified the restaurant she posted a menu from: O Melidense in Melides, Portugal.
This marks Archie and Lilibet’s first big trip to Europe since they attended the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in July 2022.
Meghan posts photos of Lili and Archie’s life in California from time to time on social media. She takes many more privately and emails them to addresses she created for her children.
During her April 2025 appearance on The Jamie Kern Lima Show, she explained, “I thought it was such a great time capsule to create for them, because I still have scrapbooks and photo albums, but we’re past that generation now. And so I’d created for the kids these email addresses…that I will give them at some point in their lives when they’re older. But before I go to bed almost every night, I email them.”
She detailed what she sends, saying, “You email them like, ‘Here’s your report card from today,’ or ‘Oh my gosh, you said the funniest thing this morning,’ or ‘Here’s a picture of you two having breakfast.’ [These messages can include] the things that you’re not going to frame, the things that you’re not going to put pen to paper in a journal.”
