LSU head football coach Lane Kiffin and stand-up comedian Theo Von will be donning more green than usual on March 14.
The two will appear as special guests and ride in the Wearin’ of the Green Baton Rouge St. Patrick’s Day parade, it was announced on social media Monday. The 41st parade rolls at 11 a.m. this year on a route through the Hundred Oaks and Perkins Road Overpass areas.
Kiffin, who formerly helmed the Ole Miss Rebels football squad, will be coaching his first season with the Tigers this fall. Von, a native of Covington, has appeared on MTV and Comedy Central shows, and hosts the “This Past Weekend” podcast.
Weather Channel meteorologist and personality Jim Cantore will lead the parade as grand marshal.
