“Bachelorette” fans will have to wait just a little longer for the premiere of season 22. The next new season of “The Bachelorette” is coming up in about two weeks, and there is one contestant on the show from Florida.
Taylor Frankie Paul will be the first “Bachelorette” from outside of the “Bachelor” franchise, coming to the show from her smash-hit Hulu reality show “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.”
Miami resident Jenn Tran held the title last season, and the show took a brief hiatus, with fans wondering if the “Bachelor” spinoff would return at all. But in September 2025, ABC revealed Paul as the newest lead.
In another first for the franchise, there will be a preview to the show, set to air the week before, called “Bachelorette: Before the First Rose.” The preview will bring 18 former leads of the show together to share behind-the-scenes stories from their seasons of “The Bachelorette.”
