Will Ferrell’s Netflix Golf Comedy ‘The Hawk’ Unveils Teaser and Sets Summer Premiere

Netflix revealed a first look at Will Ferrell’s upcoming comedy series, newly titled “The Hawk,” and announced a summer premiere window.

The teaser shows Ferrell in character as golfer Lonnie “The Hawk” Hawkins, wearing a hot pink golf shirt and a white visor that says “Hawk” over his curly, platinum blonde hair. As Hawkins poses, a voiceover says, “This summer, a legend returns. An icon. A champion. An American hero.” Hawkins mouths along as the narrator continues: “His name: Lonnie ‘The Hawk’ Hawkins.” Then Hawkins pipes in, saying, “That’s me. I’m him. That’s who they’re talking about.
