Aaron Pierre, who next star as Jon Stewart, one of the Green Lantern Corps, will join David Corenswet’s Superman in DC Studios’ “Man of Tomorrow,” TheWrap has learned.
The actor will first be seen in HBO’s “Lanterns” which premieres in August. Production on “Man of Tomorrow” kicks off in Atlanta this spring.
The inclusion of Pierre supports speculation that “Man of Tomorrow” will be a soft adaptation of the Superman comic book storyline “Panic in the Sky.” The storyline saw Superman mobilize Earth’s heroes in a battle against Brainiac, who had taken over the planet Warworld with plans to invade Earth.
