“THE NUTCRACKER”: The Jefferson Ballet Theatre presents the ballet based on Hoffmann’s “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King” Dec. 19-21 at Jefferson Performing Arts Center, 6400 Airline Drive in Metairie. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. for weekend matinees. The performances will feature the JPA Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Dennis G. Assaf.
