We have had a spate — a spate, I tell you! — of show announcements this week. The updates:
All Rise together
Iconic alt-punk band Rise Against has announced a new leg of its U.S. tour, with featured guest Alkaline Trio. The band plays Pearl at Palms Casino Resort on Oct. 17 (tickets on sale 10 a.m. Pacific time Friday at AXS.com).
Rise Against has announced the launch of The A.R.T. Project (All Rise Together), billed as “a fan-driven creative initiative celebrating community, collaboration and expression. The project supports the band’s 10th studio album, “Ricochet.”
In this outreach campaign,the band invited fans over the past quarter-century to join the creative process, designing artwork for their latest music video releases for “Damage Is Done” and “Ricochet.”
Morris to Chelsea
Maren Morris is going for the “quad” on her upcoming “The dreamGIRL Tour.”
The Grammy Award-winning, singer-songwriter is celebrating her four-album catalog, and the 10th anniversary of “Hero,” her breakout album. Morris stops at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan on July 15 (tickets on sale 10 a.m. Pacific time Friday; go to ticketmaster.com for intel).
Morris is expected to mix up the set list (which will be “uniquely curated,” so pay attention) in an intimate format.
Scout Willis is Morris’s featured guest. The singer is a daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis.
Indie game music
Fans of the beloved (that’s what they tell me) indie game “Undertale” will enjoy the music on stage at Resorts World Theatre on Oct. 10, with “Undertale: The Determination Symphony.” Tickets are on sale 10 a.m. Pacific time Thursday at AXS.com, for the show where Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Janet Jackson have headlined.
Ella Mai to RWLV
Multi-platinum-selling, Grammy Award-winning, R&B singer/songwriter Ella Mai plays Resorts World Theatre on July 24. The “Do You Still Love Me?” tour supports Mai’s third studio album of the same name. AMA and Girlfriend are Mai’s support acts (tickets on sale 10 a.m. Pacific time Friday; go to rwlasvegas.com/entertainment for intel).
Metal icons to HoB
Ukrainian progressive metal leader Jinjer stops at House of Blues on July 24, the band’s first North American headline series since 2024 (tickets are on sale 10 a.m. Pacific time Friday at ticketmaster.com).
The band has sold out the grandest European venues on their first European headlining tour in six years. Jinjer is a modern-metal powerhouse, having shared the bill with Slipknot, Disturbed, Bullet For My Valentine, Babymetal and Sepultura, among others. Entheos joins as special guest.
Doing the funny
— Ex-“SNL” cast member Leslie Jones is at Pearl at the Palms on July 31. Jones is a three-time Primetime Emmy Award nominee, along with a Writer’s Guild Award and NAACP Award nominee for her time on the NBC series (tickets on sale 10 a.m. Pacific time Friday on AXS.com).
— Recurring Vegas headliner Brad Williams returns to The Palazzo Theatre on Nov. 7 (tickets on sale 10 a.m. Pacific time Friday at Ticketmaster.com or at The Venetian/Palazzo box office). “Tall Tales” is the tour title, referencing Williams’ diminutive statue. The comic sold out the room on Feb. 28. He also was a member of the opening cast of “Mad Apple” at New York-New York in May 2022.
— Comic Alfred Robles returns to The Palazzo Theatre on Sept. 11, a Mexican Independence Day Weekend stop on his “Vatos with Gatos Tour.” (Tickets on sale 10 a.m. Pacific time Friday). Robles is from East L.A., where he caught the attention of star Latin comic Gabriel Iglesias, who offered him a spot opening on tour. Robles toured with Iglesias for 13 years before taking the road solo.
— Star stand-up comedian, award-winning writer and actor Mo Amer plays The Chelsea at on July 18 (tickets on sale 10 a.m. Pacific time Friday at ticketmaster.com). Amer is a favorite Palestinian-American comic and writer, starring in the second season of Netflix’s “MO,” a somewhat autobiographical series. The first season was “certified fresh” by Rotten Tomatoes with a rare 100% score from critics.
