The first trailer for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” was released by Marvel this Wednesday, following a social media campaign where fans from different countries revealed new clips from the trailer throughout Tuesday.
When fans last saw Tom Holland’s “Spider-Man” in 2021’s crossover film “No Way Home,” the webslinger had been erased from the history books by a spell from Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), which caused the world — and Peter Parker’s best friends Mj (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon) — to forget his existence. With his Aunt May dead and with no ties left to the world, he recommitted himself to fighting crime in New York.
