Chronic Disease Prevention: 2-3 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library, 215 Fourth Ave. S.E. Sanford’s Annie Jacobson to present food demonstration focusing on the prevention or management of chronic disease. 

Build your first website: 3:30-5 p.m. March 24, Business and Health Innovation Center at Northern State University. A step by step introduction to no-code website platforms. 

Fourth Tuesday vendor show: 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 617 S. 15th St. Dinner served from 5-7 p.m. Browse a variety of vendor booths featuring direct sales and hand-made items.

Wool in the garden: 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library, 215 Fourth Ave. S.E., learn about an innovative, eco-friendly technique to boost your garden’s health with less effort.

Dakota Student Art Exhibit Open House: 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, Aberdeen Recreation and Cultural Center, 225 Third Ave. S.E., second floor library auditorium. Art viewing also available 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. March 25-26. Enjoy artwork from area middle school and high school students. 

Poetry on the Road: 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, Red Rooster Coffee House, 218 S. Main St. One of 21 events held across the state to help foster the creation and appreciation of poetry. Organized by the South Dakota State Poetry Society the event features poetry readings by members and an open mic opportunity.

Bach’s Lunch: 12-1 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1620 Milwaukee Ave. N.E., enjoy a variety of musical pieces performed by the Northern State University Music Department. Free.

Traditional Native American Doll Making: 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 26, K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library. Presentation and hands-on activity with Dani McQuillen who will discuss Native American culture and storytelling through traditional doll making.

Culturefest: 6-9 p.m. Friday, March 27, Kessler’s Champions Club at Northern State University’s Barnett Center. Join a celebration of the cultures in Aberdeen and on campus.

Mocktails with Myron: 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 27, Marcus P. Beebe Memorial Library, 120 Main St., in Ipswich, $20. Make reservations by calling 605-426-6707. Come support the library with an evening of friends, paint and mocktails.

Holy Hoops: 7 p.m. Friday, March 27, Roncalli High School, 1400 N. Dakota St. Enjoy a showdown between Roncalli seniors and priests and staff. 

Easter Egg Hunt and more: 9-11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, K.O. Lee Aberdeen Public Library, 215 Fourth Ave. S.E. Featuring an easter egg hunt, waffle bar, games, prizes, craft tables and opportunities to visit with the Easter bunny.

Easter for Kids: 9-11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 28, Trinity Lutheran Church, 923 S. Dakota St. Games, crafts, sing songs and hear the Easter story.

Groton Lion’s Club Easter Egg Hunt: 10-10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 28, Groton City Park, 802 N. Third St. For youth up to 10 years old. Alternate weather date is April 4.

Aberdeen Film Showcase: 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. sessions, Saturday, March 28, Black Box Theatre at Johnson Fine Arts Center.Watch a variety of locally produced films including 3AM at the Painted Door produced by Northern students. The afternoon session includes films and a filmmaker panel discussion with filmmakers including Andrew Kightlinger. $5 suggested admission. Afterparty to follow at the Red Rooster Coffee House, 218 S. Main St.

Knight for a Princess: 4-7 p.m. Saturday, March 28, Central High School, 2200 S. Roosevelt St. Enjoy swing dance lessons from 4-5 p.m., strolling magicians, appetizers and a royal ball.  Tickets are $40 per couple and $60 for a knight with two princesses. Spring Big Boy Toy Show: 10 a.m-6 p.m. Saturday, March 28 and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, March 29, Holum Expo Building, 400 24th Ave. N.W.

Winefest: 4:30-8:30 p.m. Saturday, March 28,  Boys and Girls Club of Aberdeen, 1121 First Ave. S.E., Enjoy a night at the speakeasy with drinks, appetizers and entertainment. Grand tasting is 6-8:30 p.m. Tickets available at Kesslers or the Boys and Girls Club. VIP tickets are $100. Grand tasting is $65 each or $100 for two.
