RAYE has joined forces with Hans Zimmer for a charismatic new single called ‘Click Clack Symphony’.

The track marks the latest single to be shared from the singer’s hotly anticipated second studio album, ‘This Music May Contain Hope’. That record is the long-awaited follow-up to her breakthrough, ‘My 21st Century Blues’, and out on March 27. Pre-order it here.

It will feature the huge hit single ‘Where Is My Husband!’, which was released last September and named as one of the best songs of 2025 by NME, as well as the song ‘Nightingale Lane’, which she performed live at the 2026 BRIT Awards.

Now, RAYE has shared another preview of the album in the form of the empowering, charismatic ‘Click Clack Symphony’.

The London singer teams up with legendary composer and producer Hans Zimmer on the track, and the lyrics come as a powerful pep talk on survival and overcoming darkness, nurturing friendships, and getting out of the house when things get tough.

“Did you know the odds to be born on this Earth’s one in four hundred trillion?/I conquered those odds, yet I can’t conquer leaving this house/ I eat, sleep, scroll, and work/ But there has to be more than just merely existing,” she sings in the fast-paced intro, building to the cathartic chorus.

“Click, click, click, clack, symphony, I love the sound of it/ Who let the girls out?/ I did, I did, darling/ She’s empowered by the sound of us marching/ Her legs are hurting, but her back is still arching/ And this sound reminds me that it’s going to be alright.”

“The song is about the sounds that high heels make. It’s about those times in our life when you need your best friends or your siblings to drag you out of the house and say ‘I know you’re not in the best place right now but we need to get outside’,” RAYE explained. “Thank goodness for those people in our lives that help us in our dark times.”

While the song is officially released today (Friday March 20), it has already been played live, as RAYE kicked off her huge ‘This Tour May Contain New Music’ tour in Lodz, Poland in January.

Since then, she has continued to play across Europe, and made various stops across the UK, including shows in London, Manchester, Glasgow and Dublin.

Up next, she has a huge run of US tour dates planned for April and May, as well as a handful of gigs still set for the UK later this year. The latter includes two more stops at The O2 in London, and headline slots at Reading & Leeds.

Aside from her own tour dates, RAYE will also be supporting Bruno Mars at his massive ‘The Romantic Tour’ dates, which take place across North America in August, September and October.

“Music is medicine, I’ve always said that. I guess I’m in the process of making medicine for myself that I can share with the world,” she explained. “I want us all to say to ourselves that it’s going to be all right, and I’m going to have faith in the seeds that I’ve planted beneath the snow. I wanted to create something that is a hug, bed or soft place for that person who needs it.”

In 2024, the singer-songwriter announced that her second album would be delayed following the theft of her car with her songwriting books inside. She then revealed in October the following year that she had found her stolen car with her songwriting books “untouched”, meaning she could go back to working on it.
