Royals players were all smiles at this point.
The Royals bid farewell to their spring home over the weekend and traveled to Texas where they will face the Rangers in a pair of exhibition games this week.
After arriving in the Lone Star State, roughly a dozen players visited Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington for a little rest and relaxation.
But it wasn’t that way for all of them. New Royals outfielder Isaac Collins barfed while riding on a roller coaster. That’s the kind of thing that is certain to be brought up at least once or a dozen times by his teammates this season.
The Royals shared photos (via first baseman Vinnie Pasquantino) and wrote in an Instagram post: “Work hard play hard. Shoutout honorary admin, @pasquantino, for the pics!”
Carter Jensen responded to the post with a video of a man riding a roller coaster but looking at someone behind him.
Pasquantino shared a photo from the roller coaster and wrote: “This was 2 minutes before @isaaccollins threw up while still on the ride #builtdifferent.”
Jac Caglianone used the same picture on his Insta story and wrote: “moments before disaster @isaaccollins

The Royals acquired Collins and pitcher Nick Mears from the Brewers in a trade that sent Angel Zerpa to Milwaukee.
