The Los Angeles Zoo is attracting visitors who aren’t looking at the animals. The visitors are coming for the LA Zoo Bloom.
Misha Body, Deputy Director of Animals & Experiences at L.A. Zoo, said, “L.A. Zoo Bloom is a fun way to celebrate spring in Los Angeles. This event has something for everyone from meet and greets with Big Bunny to delicious honey tastings and education stations. Spring is the season of rebirth and renewal and there is no place more fitting than L.A. Zoo Bloom to get in touch with nature.”
And Dr. Jakes Owens, Director of Conservation at L.A. Zoo says, “Springtime at the L.A. Zoo just got a lot more colorful with L.A. Zoo Bloom. We know our guests will enjoy the fun spring-themed photo-ops, live performances, and the conservation expo. As part of our Project Pollinator conservation program, guests can also learn about pollinators like monarch butterflies and L.A. Native bats, how they help us in our own lives, and how we can support them by planting beautiful native gardens at home.”
