Sukihana is welcoming a daughter.
Over the weekend in Pembroke, Florida, the rapper and TV personality hosted a gender reveal with her child’s father, Snoop, during which the couple discovered they’re having a baby girl.
The pair stood in front of “boy” and “girl” signs adorned with blue and pink balloons, as their family and friends counted down to the reveal. As pink dust exploded into the sky, Suki started jumping up and down and hugging Snoop. Several attendees also jumped into the pool.
“Finding out I’m having a baby girl was such a beautiful, emotional moment for me,” Sukihana said in a press release. “Being surrounded by love, by my family, and by people who truly support me made it even more special. This is another new chapter, and I’m embracing it.”
The 34-year-old has three kids, two sons and one daughter. Earlier this month, Sukihana told People that she kept her pregnancy under wraps for a while to “protect” her baby.
“This baby came into my life at a time when I truly needed a reminder of purpose and love,” she told the publication. “I’ve lived a lot of my life loudly, but this moment is something I wanted to protect until I was ready to share it with the world.”
“I feel like it is also a rebirth for me,” she said of her pregnancy. “I’m so happy that I’m healthy and I’m birthing a healthy baby.”
