Hong Kong movie star Lee Do-yu, 58, known for his role in Young and Dangerous, dies after experiencing an accident on April 4.
Tin Kai Man, actor and spokesperson for the Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers, confirmed his passing on April 3, AsiaOne reported.
According to Sina, fellow actor Frankie Chi-Hung Ng said Lee fell and hit the back of his head while drunk, resulting in a fractured skull.

He was then taken to hospital and underwent surgery for a brain hemorrhage but did not survive.
Ng said he was deeply saddened by his friend’s passing, adding that Lee had recently attended the opening of his restaurant to show support.
Lee graduated from TVB’s actor training class in 1976. He entered the film industry in the 1980s and appeared in more than 30 films. He was best known for his role as Hung Hing Society’s adviser Chen Yao in the hit Hong Kong film franchise Young and Dangerous.
After TVB declined in popularity, Lee left the film industry in the early 2000s to focus on business. His final role was in My Wife is a Gambler Maestro in 2008.
In 2022, he appeared at the launch of a film and entertainment production company in China.
