In an Instagram post on April 7, the Good Morning America host shared that her production company, Rock’n Robin Productions, got nominated for Outstanding Recorded News Special at the 2026 News and Documentary Emmy Awards. Receiving a nod for the special Hurricane Katrina: 20 Years After the Storm, Robin shouted out how special this moment was for her and everyone who worked on the project.
“Honored to be recognized with a 2026 News & Documentary Emmy nomination for Outstanding Recorded News Special,” the caption read. “Hurricane Katrina: 20 Years After the Storm, led by @robinrobertsgma, is a testament to resilience, memory, and the power of bearing witness – not just to what was lost, but to what endures.
