Despite being a high-profile couple, Hailee Steinfeld and Josh Allen, who just welcomed their baby girl to the world, still have ground rules that most discuss.
Speaking to Architectural Digest during an interview conducted “in the weeks” before their baby’s birth, Steinfeld was asked if she and Allen watch TV while eating, later noting that she also doesn’t fall asleep with it on.
“I think it’s a mixture of both,” Steinfeld revealed. “The preference is not in front of the TV. I value a meal away from technology, and even if it’s just the two of us—[or] if it’s us with friends, with family—that time is so limited with the opportunity to have uninterrupted conversation over a great meal.”
She was asked a follow-up question about having pets on furniture. If she’s speaking “emotionally, Steinfeld says “no” to her pets. However, she considers pets part of her “family,” so that “rule gets bent.”
Granted, it helps that Steinfeld’s dogs are “so little.” Whenever she sits on the couch, they’re immediately on her feet. She called it “almost impossible to resist their cuteness, and I end up picking them up.”
However, she does try to make sure they’re “freshly bathed and on a blanket” when they sit on the couch.

One day after announcing the birth of their baby, the couple was seen at Sam Darnold and Katie Hoofnagle’s wedding. It even appears Allen was one of Darnold’s groomsmen.
