Luke is headed back to Stars Hollow — er, Brighton — for this year’s Destination Stars Hollow.
Scott Patterson, who played grumpy diner owner Luke for seven seasons on the hit series “Gilmore Girls,” will be back in Brighton for this year’s “Gilmore Girls”-themed town takeover, Sept. 25-27.
Patterson attended the 2025 edition of the festival, which drew tens of thousands of fans to Brighton to toast all things “Gilmore Girls” while celebrating the city’s small businesses.

The festival launched in 2024 and was a surprise success, drawing fans from all over the U.S. for its quirky commemoration of the hit series about mothers and daughters in a small, picturesque New England town.
Patterson, 67, will be on hand to “meet fans, share stories, and bring a little more Destination Stars Hollow magic to life,” organizers wrote in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
Tickets will go on sale this summer, according to organizers.
Scott Patterson attends Holidays Made Here at Warner Bros. Studios on December 17, 2025 in Burbank, California.
