With weekend one of Coachella kicking off today, many of us here at Harper’s Bazaar have been thinking about the style that has defined the outdoor music festival for over a decade now. Back around 2016, attendees like the Kardashian-Jenners, Vanessa Hudgens, and Bella Hadid helped to curate the “Coachella uniform” that we’ve come to associate with the event, consisting of skin-baring silhouettes, metallic accents, and boho on boho influences. And while it’s unclear whether Hadid will be in attendance this year, she appeared to take some inspiration from the festival, and its fashion, for her latest look.
In an Instagram post yesterday, the supermodel celebrated the release of new body and hair perfume mists that she unveiled through her fragrance company, Orebella. “Newest baby… body and hair perfume mist,” Hadid wrote in her caption. “Most perfect fruity floral happy spritz…find her with her sisters, dropping tomorrow @orebella 🎀🌸🍐.”
To promote the mists, Hadid posed for a photoshoot in a slinky silver number designed and styled by Ashling Sarveen Massoumi.
The set consisted of a bolero shrug that morphed into a bra, as well as a matching micro skirt, both composed of a gossamer silver fabric with sequins and embroidered florals.
Hadid’s bra was decorated with flowy fabric that trailed down her stomach in thin strips, leaving the center of her midriff bare, while the skirt was composed of similarly sparkly material in shredded strips the encircled the Orebella founder’s body.
It was a dazzling, sexy set that certainly wouldn’t look out of place for dancing late into the night in Indio, California.
As Massoumi shared photos of the ensemble to her personal Instagram, Hadid wrote: “Made by those perfect hands and perfect brain of yours into the depths of the night !!!! Tell em baby! Killer mama I love you ❤️.”
