I’m A Celebrity has returned – but rather than the Aussie camp we know and love, our returning campmates have jetted off to South Africa for a second chance at taking home the jungle crown.
Over a week into the action, eliminations and bushtucker trials are already taking place. However, there is one aspect of our All Stars spin off that’s left viewers conflicted. Rather than the usual voting power, this year’s show is pre-recorded – meaning who takes part in trials and who is sent home is down to those living inside the camp.
That is, almost completely pre-recorded. While all the action taking place in South Africa was filmed and recorded in September 2025, there is one element of the show which fans will finally get to watch unfold live and have their say: the finale.
When is the I’m A Celeb Final, and will it be live?
The final episode of I’m A Celebrity South Africa will air on Friday 14th April, 2026… And yes, it will be live!
While the entirety of the show thus far has been prerecorded, the final will take place live from an ITV studio. Hosted by Ant and Dec, all of our campmates will be present as our King or Queen of the jungle is crowned live on ITV1 and ITVX!
What time is the I’m A Celebrity South Africa final?
Now, this is where it gets complicated. While the show has typically aired at 9pm, the final will have a different schedule than we’re used to.
It’s been confirmed the finale will be a two parter, kicking off earlier than usual at 7:30pm and running until 9pm. At this point, there’ll be a brief break, with the show returning from 10pm to 10:30pm to crown our I’m A Celeb South Africa winner!
Will viewers be able to vote in the I’m A Celebrity South Africa final?
Fans will be relieved to hear they’ll have a say in who takes home the jungle crown. It’s likely why we have the hour break from 9pm until 10pm, allowing some time to get everything sorted out!
Where will the I’m A Celebrity South Africa final take place?
There’ll be no flights to South Africa needed this year, with the final taking place in an ITV London studio!
Hosted by Ant and Dec on ITV1, STV and ITVX, fans were even given the opportunity to snap up free tickets to attend the final in person! An advert on Applause Store read, ‘You are invited to join Ant and Dec as the celebrities gather for one last night to find out who will be crowned the I’m A Celebrity Legend 2026! All finalists will be in the studio, and the atmosphere promises to be truly electric as the result is revealed live on ITV1.’
