Natalie Portman and Her Boyfriend, Tanguy Destable, Are Expecting Their First Child Together

On March 7, 2025, Natalie Portman’s relationship with music producer Tanguy Destable, who goes by the stage name Tepr, was reported by French outlet Voici and then confirmed by People.

A little over a year later, in April 2026, the actress shared happy news: The couple is expecting their first child together and her third overall. (Portman shares two other children, Aleph and Amalia, with her ex-husband Benjamin Millepied.)

“I’m just very grateful,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “I know it’s such a privilege and a miracle.”

Who is Tanguy Destable?

Destable is French and was born in Morlaix, a town in Brittany. He’s known not only as a producer, but a musician in his own right. From 2000 to 2006, he was part of the band Abstrackt Keal Agram, who opened for Katy Perry’s California Dreams Tour. He was then a part of the group Yelle from 2007 to 2014, and became famous for his remix of their song “À Cause Des Garçons.” In 2015, he released his first solo album, Hypnotease. He has since put out three more albums, Technosensible, Dance Works 2015-2018, and La nuit se traine (Bande originale du film).

Destable also has credits as an actor with roles in My Cousin and Yo! Pekin, according to his IMDb page.

The musician is very private about his personal life, but he previously dated French actress Louise Bourgoin, with whom he shares two sons, Étienne and Vadim.
